Regulation and approvals planning
Understand the pathway before committing to the operation.

A coordinated approvals pathway
The permissions needed for a drone or automated vehicle service depend on the operation, location, technology and level of risk. Our proposed role is to help a client and its authorised specialists establish a clear approvals plan and coordinate the work needed to progress it.
For aviation applications, this may involve CASA, Airservices Australia, aerodrome stakeholders and relevant land or infrastructure authorities. Ground mobility introduces separate transport and site requirements. Regulators retain responsibility for their decisions.
Proposed scope
- A concept of operations describing the intended service, environment and operating responsibilities.
- An approvals and stakeholder register, with dependencies and evidence owners.
- Coordination of operator, aircraft, airspace, site and safety inputs with appropriately qualified specialists.
- A schedule that accounts for assessment, consultation and revision.
- Support for policy engagement and the transition from trial conditions to a potential service model.
Clear boundaries
Fourier UAS is in development. This site does not claim that Fourier Advisory holds a remote operator certificate, approval for beyond visual line-of-sight flights, an approved corridor or authority to certify an aircraft or site.
For current requirements, consult CASA and the relevant authorities. An advisory engagement does not replace an operator’s obligations or guarantee approval.
